Skype allows its users to have a free group video call with up to 25 participants at a time The video call allows you to take a grid view to see all the callers and also focus on the speaker who is active. Skype allowed only 5 participants in a group chat earlier but now with the new feature being rolled out, Skype users have a better featured version in their kitty.

Skype has also decided to partner with Intel to improvise the SILK audio feature to enhance the audio quality and as the number of participants had increased, this feature was a necessity.
