Apple always dominated the mobile chip battle. Few sources suggest that iPhone 8 will probably have the best mobile processor in the world.

iPhone 8 To Feature The Powerful Processor In The World

If we talk about mobile chip battle, then iPhone has been dominating when it comes to performance. Apple develops their silicon and optimizes the software to ensure that all iOS users experience a smooth performance.

According to BGR, a new generation of mobile processor is yet to arrive with iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 will be one of the devices that is expected to pack an even faster and more powerful CPU. According to the reports from Digitimes, Apple is expected to make a jump from 16nm chip tech to 10nm chip technology.

TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) will manufacture the 10nm A11 chip that is expected to be equipped in the next years iPhone. Digitimes reported that TSMC is expected to post a 3% sequential drop in consolidated revenues in the first quarter of 2017.

Digitimes reported “TSMC reportedly will start fulfilling 10nm chip orders placed by MediaTek for its Helio X30 chips in the first quarter of 2017. The foundry’s other 10nm chip customers also include Apple for the A11 chips that will power the next-generation iPhone 8, HiSilicon for its Kirin 970 chips and Spreadtrum.”

“A pull-in of short lead-time orders for 28nm chips will make another positive contribution to TSMC’s revenues for the first quarter of 2017, the sources said. TSMC has already seen demand for 28nm chips exceed its supply prompting the foundry to expand 28nm process capacity, the sources also indicated.”

Even Samsung is also working to manufacture their 10nm chips for high-end Galaxy devices. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chip is also based on the same technology. Apple’s A10 Fusion chip had already outpaced competitors in many real-life tests. Even iPhone 6s manages to outperform smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7.
