Well, some fear robots are coming for our jobs, others think that robots are going to take over the world. However, one expert believes that robots are more likely be taking our hands in marriage because he predicts that human will wed their robot lovers by 2050.

Movies like Terminator and iRobot have taught us many things like how robots can control everything and can even look like the human being. Dr. David Levy who is the author of the bestselling book “Love and Sex with Robots” has predicted that “The first marriage will be before, not after 2050.”

Dr. David Levy suggested the rate of robot advancements, and their elevated humanoid behavior will soon see the lines blurred between what is and isn’t considered morally tolerable among man and machine. Dr. David Levy said-

“We’re being forced to contemplate what human-robot relationships will be like a generation or two from now, As love and sex with robots becomes more commonplace, we should come face to face with the very real possibility of marriage with robots.”

“When robots are sufficiently human-like, sufficiently appealing socially, to the point where they can act as our companions, why not extend that companionship to marriage if neither party is against the idea?”

You will be surprised to know that just marriage was not on the cards, Sex robots are already on the rise, and this would lead to weird relationships. Dr. Levy said, “As more and more people come to accept the concepts of sex and love with robots, so societies will develop laws that govern human-robot relationships.”

“By the time there are no laws to prevent human-robot marriages, robots will be patient, kind, subjective, loving, interesting, truthful, persevering, respectful, uncomplaining, pleasant to talk to and showing a sense of humor.”

“And the robots of the future will not be jealous, boastful, arrogant, rude, self-seeking or easily angered unless of course, you want them to be.”

Dr David Levy has predicted that the first human-robot marriage will happen in less than 35 years from now. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
