The fight against Apple and the FBI has shown that the control that governments want to impose is not always accepted. At an early stage, it was limited to applications and quickly climbed to the courts.

But finally, the FBI was able to unlock the iPhone and successfully access the data of the terrorists who were responsible for the attack in San Bernardino, California, without the help of Apple.

FBI Successfully Gained Access To The iPhone

Since the US government abandoned the process, which tried to force the technology giant Apple to assist the FBI and ended the arms race between the FBI and Apple.

The company refused to unlock the phone, claiming that the measure would risk the safety of millions of users of the product.

The attack was carried out by a terrorist couple, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, who brutally killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California, on 2nd December 2015. Farook and Malik had sworn allegiance to the Islamic State group on Facebook, and the police killed them after the attack.

But the FBI returned to contact the court and said that they had successfully managed to access the iPhone, and the data were encrypted. Hence, the US government reports that it no longer needs Apple’s invasion in this case.
