Leaked specs shows the new features of upcoming phones belonging to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi, which is reportedly working on a new variant of its flagship smartphone model Mi5, and now we get to see a Xiaomi Mi5s, which we can expect is going to be announced during the month of August 2016.

Xiaomi Reportedly Working On Mi 5s With iPhone-like 3d Touch

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is reportedly working on a 5.5-inch variant of its flagship smartphone model Mi5, which was entitled as Mi 5s. According to the proposed reports, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi may introduce the 5.5-inch variant smartphone in the second half of this year 2016.

The sources and leaks shows that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi’s Mi 5s will come with a ‘force touch’ enabled display technology, which will be like Apple’s 3D Touch, and it means that this smartphone will be able to measure the pressure with which the user presses the screen, currently this 3D Touch is available only in the Apple smartphones iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

The other features which are rumoured to be present in the Xiaomi Mi 5s will include a fingerprint sensor and a set of dual rear cameras on the back of the device, it will have a 5.5-inch screen might be with Full HD resolution, much larger than its predecessor which features are just 5 inches, but actually its improvements are not in the size, as its improvements are the quality. As for the chipset and RAM, the new Xiaomi Mi5s will have the same processor as the Xiaomi Mi5 has, the legendary Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 6GB of RAM.

As the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi also added that currently, they are working on the second generation of its Mi Note phablet which is dubbed as Mi Note 2, Yes just because the 2 is always better than the 1.

As we all know that last week company launched its Mi Max smartphone in India, which was priced at Rs 14,999. So, let’s just have look on specs of the Mi Max, as it comes with a massive 6.44-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection in an all-metal slim body, the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it weighs 203 grammes, and it clearly seems that the Mi Max is the heaviest smartphone that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has ever launched.

Hence, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has launched three variants of the smartphone in China last month with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage capacity, 3GB RAM of with the 64GB of storage capacity and the least one carries 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage capacity. The Mi Max also comes with a hybrid sim card slot which supports microSD cards along with the SIM cards of up to 128GB of storage capacity.
