Reliance Jio To Start Broadband Service, Offers Speed Up To 1Gbps
As we all know very well that Reliance Jio is clearly dominating the Indian telecom market, along with the telecom market Reliance Jio’s Lyf smartphones have been also selling in India for quite a few months now, but, the company still needs to hit the rural and small markets for its data services and mobile business.
However, there were few rumors regarding Reliance Jio’s Broadband Internet plans and they are making rounds on the internet. Previously, we have seen Reliance has revealed the Jio Fiber Broadband services.
Reliance Jio which is especially known for its high-speed free internet and already offering all the Indian users 90 days of free unlimited 4G internet along with free voice calls and SMS. So, now the Reliance Jio is preparing to start broadband service and no doubt we could clearly expect that their broadband services will have enough potential to give tough competition to existing broadband service providers.
The new broadband service of Jio will be known as the Jio GigaFiber and according to the Reliance Jio’s official website, the users could get up to 1Gbps or 120Mbps speed. But, hold on, in this case, we will strongly suggest you don’t think about the unlimited internet. Yes, this service would not provide the users with unlimited internet.
The data usage will depend on various offers that the Reliance Jio has put up on its website where the starting price of these offers remains to be Rs 500 and users will get the Data Limit of 600GB along with 30 Days Validity.
According to the official website, the new broadband connection for Jio Fiber will be available in three types Silver, Gold, and Platinum. But, the speed and data Limits varies according to the price ranges as we told earlier.
The new Jio GigaFibre Preview is also to offer 100GB data under the base data plan, later it will become unlimited for 90 days. Moreover, Reliance Jio’s official website also informs that all the Jio fibre plans will have free access to the Jio Premium apps including JioCinema, JioTv and JioBeats as well.
