OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 3T smartphone which is an upgrade over its previous OnePlus 3 flagship. The phone comes with a Snapdragon 821 processor along with better battery and front camera.
OnePlus 3T Launched: Snapdragon 821, 6GB RAM, 128GB Internal
OnePlus had finally launched the OnePlus 3T smartphone. OnePlus 3T is actually an upgrade over its previous OnePlus 3 flagship. OnePlus is also trying to reassure users who bought the previous version of the phone that is OnePlus 3 by saying “OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T to be two versions of the same phone.”
So, what’s new in OnePlus 3T? Well, the company had changed the processor in OnePlus 3T as it comes with Snapdragon 821 processor and a bigger battery and a better front camera. OnePLUS 3t starts at $439 in the US which is approximately Rs 29,000.
OnePlus also made an announcement regarding its software updates which is supposed to follow the same schedule for both phones. OnePlus claims that both the phones OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will get Android Nougat update later in the year. Official OnePlus blog also claims that OnePlus 3T has “key improvements that couldn’t be pushed out through software update releases”
OnePlus 3T comes in a 128GB Storage version and have multiple color option called “Bold Gunmetal” and “Soft Gold”. The “Bold Gunmetal” option has 128GB storage. The company also claimed that 64GB soft gold edition will be available shortly after the launch and the Gunmetal version will be on sale from November 22 in the US.
So, what about the specifications of OnePlus 3T? Well, it comes with the same 5.5 inches Full HD display. It has corning Gorilla Glass 4 for screen protection and OnePlus 3T continues with the AMOLED display. It is packed up with Snapdragon 821 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 6GB LPDDR RAM and it has storage options which include 64/128GB internal storage.
OnePlus 3T sports a 16MP camera with Sony IMX 298 sensor and also had 16MP front facing camera. If we talk about battery it comes up with 3,400mAH non-removable battery along with Dash Charge support which promises to last a whole day in just 30 minutes of charge.
