As we know, there are numbers of news popping up on the internet claiming that Nokia is planning a huge comeback into the smartphone market. Nokia which was once the largest manufacturer in the world of mobile phones sold its handset business to the tech giant Microsoft in 2014.
So now the good news is Nokia is preparing to release two new smartphones at the end of this year. According to the sources, Nokia smartphone are to manufacture by HMD Global which is a newly established company based in Finland, an independent worldwide license to create Nokia mobile phones and tablets with the brand for the next ten years.
According to the reports from Gizmo china, two smartphones from Nokia appeared in a leak and both the phone shares different sizes. According to the leaks two phones will feature 5.2 and 5.5-inch display. Both the phone will be running on latest Android 7.0 Nougat (Android N)
The leak also says that the two upcoming smartphones from Nokia will have premium metallic design and the famous Nokia feel. Both the smartphone will use 2K Display resolution and will be running Z-Launcher UI based on Android Nougat. Android N is likely to launch this year on the month of October, So we can presume that Nokia phones will debut after the launch of Android N.
The key feature according to the leaks are the two upcoming smartphones from Nokia will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and IP68 Waterproof and dustproof protection will be implemented. IP68 Dustproof and waterproof protection are currently available in Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
The previous leaks suggest that the Nokia Smartphone will feature a 22.6MP primary camera. We had also seen Snapdragon recently launched their upper version of chipset Snapdragon 820 that is Snapdragon 821. So it creates a huge opportunity for Nokia to debut in the smartphone market with the latest chipset.
