This controversial pistol is expected to release in the mid 2016. In terms of specifications, the pistol is a double barreled 380 caliber firearm featuring one piece frame construction. This pistol comes with a price tag of $395, as per their website. One of its developer, Kirk Kjellberg said that this pistol has already got mails from 2,500 buyers eager to buy this gun.

Also, when the pistol is completely closed, its trigger as well as trigger guard are enclosed by the grip, making it look like the smartphone. Additionally, this pistol also has a bullet clip and designed in such a way making it difficult to predict whether it has been loaded or not.

The motive behind this invention is to back self defense while hiding the weapon. Also anyone interested in purchasing the weapon, he/she needs to check state/local laws regarding carrying hidden arms.

In the about us section, the company states “The idea for Ideal Conceal follows the present-day demand for handguns that people can carry on a day to day basis, in a manner that makes carrying a gun easy to do. From soccer moms to professionals of every type, this gun allows you the option of not being a victim”.

Kjellberg told CNN about this invention that :

Kjellberg has a concealed carry permit and said he got the idea when he was walking through a restaurant and a young boy saw his pistol.

“This little kid says, ‘Mommy, Mommy, that man’s got a gun,’ so the whole restaurant looks at you like you’re about to shoot the place up,” Kjellberg said. “So I thought to myself there’s got to be another way to be able to carry without bothering other people.”

The hidden gun can support two bullets at a time and cannot be accidentally fired when left in concealed position.
