The social network giant Facebook accidentally declared live users as dead, recognizing after solving the problem on Friday it had made a “terrible mistake.” “For a brief period today, a commemorative message for profiles was erroneously published in other accounts,” said a spokesman for Facebook on Friday.

The US social media giant Facebook said that “this was a terrible mistake that we’ve repaired”.

The media reports indicated that about two million wandering memorials were placed in profile pages. The social network giant apologized and said a message meant for memorialized profiles was mistakenly posted to other accounts. This was a terrible error that we have now fixed.
