Reliance Jio Effect: Airtel Offers Unlimited 4G Data For 90 Days

War Has Been Declared by two telecom Giants. Airtel offers Unlimited Data For 90 Days to its 4G users. But wait! There were also some terms and conditions.

Reliance Jio Effect: Airtel Offers Unlimited 4G data for 90 Days

Reliance Jio Till now offered high-speed mobile Internet to the 90% of the Indians along with the voice calls and messaging services. Reliance Jio which was previously available to users of only Lyf Smartphones had launched a preview offer for its JIO Sim and extended its services to many other smartphone manufacturers too.

Mukesh Ambani’s game-changing Reliance Jio had already given tough competition to country’s top operators. Reliance Jio SIMs are really hard to find at the Reliance stores due to the huge crowd. To counter Reliance Jio, Airtel has come up with some mindblowing plans that will be worth a look.

Airtel on Friday unveiled a “Special 4G Data pack that offers free unlimited data for 90 days” within the Delhi circle, the Data pack will cost users Rs. 1,495 for existing Airtel Prepaid users whereas new users will get the data pack on the first recharge at the price of Rs. 1,494.

Telecom operator says that the new “Special 4G Data pack” is right now available in the Delhi circle only but will be launched across other areas over “next few days”. However, a launch of the new pack with 3 months of unlimited data clearly shows that this move is to counter the Giant Reliance JIO in the Indian telecom market.

The most important part of the plan starts here. There are also some terms and conditions applies with the pack at the Rs.1,495. Users will get the 4G data usage limit of 30GB, after which users will have unlimited 2G usage. Now if we look at JIO Plans then users can get 20GB of data for Rs. 1499 which only have 28 days validity.

Ajai Puri, Director – Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, At Airtel, we are focused on providing great value to customers. Customers with 4G handsets generally consume large amounts of data and this proposition is specifically aimed at them. With this pack these customers can stay online round the clock without having to worry about exhausting their data limits or going for frequent recharges.”
